    Tuesday starter?

I think you have 2 choices:

    1. Billingsley... he only pitches 2.0 innings Saturday. He had one of his best starts of the year vs LSU (6.1 ip 3 h 2 er 3 bb. 7 k)

    2. France... killed LSU at Tulane

Pilk and small should be a huge no

Well, I've said it like 10 times since yesterday, hate to keep repeating myself- but I would pitch France.

Only problem with France is he isn't stretched out. He won't go no more than 3-4 without taking a chance on hurting him. I do think he's s great option to start, but we'd have to go Cole or someone else pretty early in the game

I'd pitch Marsh, followed by an inning a piece from all relievers whose bullpen sessions are slated for Tuesday. Take our L and prep for Game 1 of the Regional.. Get Pilk rest and Ethan's finger healed up.

We don't have the pitching to win the SEC tourney, but we DO have the arms to make a Super or Omaha with some breaks and continued hitting. Play for the tournament we actually have a shot at. It ain't winning the SECT as a 9 seed on 3 days rest. Not with our pitching staff. That's my opinion on it.

I got no problem with half butt trying to win... no using pilk or small unless it's their scheduled day to throw and only 30-35 pitches then. Only use self 1 time. If our bats and lesser arms win some games, good deal. If not, oh well. I'm like you... save it for real tourney

Yeah I'd only pitch France 4 innings/ 5 if he has a low pitch count. Then go with whoever in the bullpen. JMO.

I agree, I wouldn't pitch Small or Pilk under any circumstances though. Not even a few innings

It’s France , and it shouldn’t even be a discussion. Dude should have been the Sunday guy weeks ago.

Most of us agree it should be France- but who will Henderson choose to pitch?

Henderson probably goes with Pilk. He said as much in that interview.

I've got no problem doing what we need to for our best shot at winning a regional, but I sure would like to beat LSU and knock Manieri out of both the SEC and NCAA tournaments.

The 3rd Florida win got us into a regional for sure, we need to rest the few arms we have for the regional. Making a super regional is a much bigger deal than winning the SECT.

The SECT is actually the hardest tournament there is win. 3/4 of the field will be regional teams, 1/3 will be Omaha teams, and at least one will be in the National Championship series. Florida, LSU, and Arkansas can half-ass the tournament while throwing drafted freshmen pitchers.

We should limit the action to James, Breaux, Gordon, and Marsh. Maybe break the red shirt on Zane Stephens just to see if we have anything there.
