    Quickest way to get to an 8 team playoff...

    for those of us that want it is to have GA and AL play for the NC this year. The AL-LSU championship got us the 4 team playoff.

    Couple that with the B1G and Pac 12 getting snubbed and Directional Flarda finishing the season undefeated after easily handling Awe Burn, and you will have a national outcry.

    Or leave bama out for a few years in a row. Their sidewalk nation would go bat crazy for an eight team playoff!

    Several of the media proposals call for a mid-December Quarterfinal round at home sites of the higher seed or bowls. Then semis and final go on with the existing schedule.
