    My Realistic Wishlist

    My somewhat realistic wishlist
    1. Taggart - Oregon Head Coach
    2. Campbell - Iowa St. Head Coach(Mullen of the big 12)
    3. Norvell- Memphis Head Coach
    4. Lane Kiffin- FAU HC
    5. Venables - Clemson DC
    6. Brian Harsin- BSU HC
    7. Charlie Strong- USF Head Coach
    8. Todd Monken- 9-5@USM, current TB OC
    9. Mike Leach- Wash St. Head Coach
    10. Chad Morris- SMU Head Coach
11.Skip Holtz- La Tech Head Coach
    12.Frank Wilson- UTSA(from Nola)
    12. Bill Clarke- UAB Head Coach
    13. Scott Satterfield- APP State Coach
    14. Sonny Dykes- Cal/Miss ties
    15. Geoff Collins- Temple Head Coach (would need to bring back a Brian Johnson as OC IMO)

*ETA: how would y?all feel about Les Miles?
If worse comes to worst when can get a mercenary in here to hold class together and get us through next year. We CAN NOT squander the opportunity we have in next years team. That?s a SECCG level roster coming back.

    Questionable/baggage homeruns:
    Art Briles
    Bobby Petrino

?-Also, I?m giving Gary Pinkel a call if I?m Cohen and see what he has to say.

*** If not able to get one of top 10 I think it?s inportant to hire someone who is familiar to the program. Someone the players know. Need to keep the continuity on this team program so we try not to lose our stride going into 2018. This is a much better job today than it has ever been. I would consider us on par with a South Carolina type job.

A working knowledge of P5 recruiting is essential.

Being able to acclimate to Starkville is another.

    I don't want a defensive minded coach.

Mike Leach would be fun, but his offense gets shut down against teams that can get decent pressure with a 3 man rush, like Washington did last night. Alabama and LSU would be two opponents almost guaranteed every season to be able to get pressure with 3 men.

Norvell is 10-1 at Memphis this year. He's doing something right.

Very true. Starkville getting better. The key is the roster we have heading into next year. Coaches will see that and think they can start winning big day 1. Answer me this, without looking at what?s on the jersey, name any other job opening that has a better set up going forward into next year? Expirenced top 15 team returning. A top 15 defense returning. At least 4 more years of solid to great QB play. And an entire state to yourself the next 5 years as far as recruiting goes. Idk who gets the job but whoever does is a smart man. A critical thinker will see us as a diamond in the rough.

Would love Hulgerson and Brohm but I don?t see them leaving. They are Dan Mullen?s(waiting for one of the big boys), we hire future Dan Mullen?s.(OC/DC of a big boy or a successful up and comer from a G5)
