Stapleton
Fouled out in only 16 mins on the floor. He did however score a total of zero points so there is that. **

He gets the dumbest damn fouls imaginable. His 4th foul where he tangles his legs up with his man as hes just trying to run thru the lane was completely stupid and on purpose. He will slap at a ball at the most ignorant times. He's also done something or runs his mouth so much that our esteemed SEC officials seem to dislike his ass and blow the whistle on him extremely quickly. He had 1 foul on a rebound where he did seem to go over the back of the USC player, but it was extremely athletic and took the ref by surprise and he blew the whistle way late to call it. He, Kegler, and Holman I think are on the refs hit list because of their mouths or facial expressions and body language or something. They all 3 get called for some ticky tack ass fouls. Also, Lamar Peters has GOT TO QUIT trying to slap the ball from behind when his man goes by. That shit worked in high school but isn't gonna cut it in college. Move your damn feet and stay in front of him

You want a guy like Stapleton on your team, but he's going to have to learn how to rein it in a good bit in order to be a consistent asset. Besides having the temperament to play enforcer, he has the tools to be a good player in his own right; just isn't putting it all together yet. Bear in mind he's only in his second year on the court, so he's still got time to learn just like the vast majority of the rest of the team.

Why do you constantly start threads for the sole purpose of running down our players?

Don't say Q and surgery. It's like yelling Beetlejuice three times for Dawg61

He's taking a break from writing his "Love and Tolerance" sermon.

Yep, Stapleton is definitely the problem. Everyone else has been playing great. (I hope I don't need sarcastericks for that.)

Jeez, Stapleton isn't even fully healed from his ACL tears. He will be fully recovered by next year. While I do agree he is getting called for dumb fouls, he probably is still recovering from also not playing organized basketball in two years.
I think if we can get Q back and going on Saturday, we could go on a little mini-run starting Saturday. Our next four games will be LSU, Missouri, Alabama, and South Carolina. If that isn't the easiest possible draw we could have gotten to end the season I can't think of anything easier. I think it will be hard as **** for Alabama and South Carolina to beat us three times if we haven't completely given up,

For MSU to be a good team, We must have better post players. Ours cannot receive a pass nor finish if they do catch it. They also cannot block-out so they can't rebound worth a $hit. They get pushed under the rim way too easily. They also need to learn how to throw the pass back to the open man. Once we have a SEC quality big man you will see the other players look a lot better. Also next year ready will be gone and Witherspoon Jr will be on board.

Seriously, when is the last game that we actually took more free throws than our opponent? Or had less total fouls than our opponent?

Well, now it looks like we will play LSU twice. Should win the next two so more then likely will finish season 16-16.

It will be the next two games. LSU is beyond awful.
