Nafoom already calling Charlie Strong next DC
Sometimes you just have to shake your head and laugh.
-
Yes, and they are going to fire Freeze and go after John Gruden... And if he says no, the back-up plan is Tony Dungy.**
-
Haha. Yeah, they just don't get it. They have no awareness of what's going on or about to happen to their football program.
I get the sense that the impending NCAA will catch many bears off guard.

Did Charlie Strong have to fire a member of his staff at Texas related to Ole Miss's NCAA violations? I'm sure he is in a hurry to get to Oxford......not

Lol, forgot about that aspect. With all of the top flight D.C. Jobs and potential HC jobs that will be open this offseason, I'm sure Strong is just itching to go to the school under a four year NCAA investigation- and he likely knows more about what's going on there than most given the fact he's had to make staff changes because of it.

They're going to have a hard time hiring anyone with that probation cloud hanging over their head.
-
Strong coached at OM in the 90s and I can all but assure you he will not be at OM next year
-
If Aranda decides to leave LSU to go to Texas with Herman, then Steong should be the next DC at LSU.

Lets make this simple: Charlie Strong gets 10.something million, but that is reduced if he takes another job.
-
Well, we all know how well connected those guys are over there.

He's spending next year in a studio booth.
-
Strong would completely fit the mold there. OM student body is mostly composed of Texas rejects.
-
Strong has a better chance of being OM's head coach through probation than their DC

Ha! They also thought they were about to get Mason if Vanderbilt fired him. They are completely in denial about who and what they are. They hired a sunbelt coach a few years removed from being a girls basketball coach and had to cheat like hell to become semi relevant for a couple of years before the bottom fell out and the NCAA butt raped them. No one worth a shit is going to step on that train.

It's amazing to me the level of delusion their fanbase is at. I think they honestly believe that people in he college football world gives a flying **** about them. They are a basement dweller and they better get real used to that fact over the next few years

Exactly. This will virtually mirror the Chizik situation. Hefty buy out for a year while he's an analyst, then get back in as a DC at a Top 25 caliber program.

Anyone want to take a stab at the number of times Strong's agent has ignored Bdork's calls?

It is prettyy amazing just how clueless many of their fans are about what's hanging over their heads.
