Slay vs Paidwell
Didn't realize that Slay was covering Laquon yesterday on the pick play. Development vs non-development.

Saw someone on Twitter say Slay has as many catches from Minnesota QB as Paidwell.

He does. Treadwell has 1 catch for 15 yards. Slay had 1 Int that was returned for 13 yards.

Don't think he was covering treadwell on the INT but treadwell was able to pick up the ball after Slay was ruled down and acted like he recovered a fumble. Must've been a big moment for him.

He was lined up against Treadwell at the snap. Being the smart player he is, he dropped off of him because he knew Treadwell wasn't going to get targeted and thus was in position for the pick.
Hard to run a decoy when there isn't a chance the decoy isn't going to get the ball.....
