    And that bad Arizona team had almost 400 yards rushing against Washington. Think the pac12 is overrated big time.

    Also, AZ is 2-5 in a conference where USC, OR, and Stanford are all unranked for the first time since '99.

    Exactly. As much as Espn hyped pac12 pre season, the conference is down big time.

    Rich Rod was going to be the head coach at Bama , before Saban was snagged in the the last hour..
    How different things may have been..

    Close. Saban was contacted I think sometime in Nov and told them no. Rich Rod was going to take it but decided to turn it down on 12/8/2006. They finally got Saban to agree a month later. Rich Rod had the job if he wanted it and they wouldn't have pursued Saban again.
