I'm ending the weekend at the Abita Jackson Square Music and Food Fest in Jackson. There's a fine selection of Abita beers and food from Drago's, Acme, Galatoire's and Lucky Dog. I've already seen Southern Komfort Brass Band and the legend Dr. John and the Funky Meters are next. It's a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I can still watch Dak tonight and watch the Saints lose another game tomorrow.

I bet that was a good time. I did Germanfest in G'stadt and was worried that would kill the attendance but it didn't

It was a good crowd. Probably didn't hurt that the Saints play tomorrow and even that Dak plays tonight. It's an hour drive for us but I think it's important to support events like this so we can keep them happening. Arden is doing a great job.

Hey, Sapper, how much did you pay for that 12 year, if you don't mind me asking? I can find Weller Reserve quite easily, but haven't seen the 12 yet, so I'd just like to know.

I got in a bulk purchase/trade for about $60 when averaged. Secondary market is about $100 right now.
