Here's our 11 on the first snap vs USA.....

    Viper: Jon Calvin
    DT: Dale
    NT: Adams
    DT: Jefferson

    Will: Leo Lewis
    Mike: R. Brown
    Star: JT Gray

    SS: Bryant

I know some of you are going to try and disagree. But that's our starting 11.

Nick James having issues? Nothing overly surprising to me besides that.

I just don't see our defense being all that good if Nick James is not a force at NT.

Nick James is looking as good as he ever has, but I look for him to be in the 2nd group. We are always going to rotate 2 D-lines. And against USA, look for the dreaded 1B.

Let me edit to add that unlike 2014, the drop off from 1A to 1B is marginal except for CB.

I actually disagree here. I think Nelson Adams will start. Both will play a ton of reps though.

Not disagreeing, but where is that coming from? We're still about 5 days out from Mullen putting the week 1 depth chart out there.

Highly doubt Gerri Green won't be on the field to start the game.

Green is the backup Viper and the backup Mike. He is one of our best players and he will play a ton. I just dont think he will be on the field for the first snap unless we move Calvin down to DT and bump Dale to the bench. That's our pass defense unit.

I'm confused by this statement. "He is one of our BEST players... I just don't think he will be on the field for the first snap"

If he's truly one of our best players, why he ain't gone be on da field to start? Seems ass backwards to a winning strategy.

I said when he came out the kid has the potential to be a lottery pick type guy. He's got a lot of ground to make up for that to ever happen now, but he can absolutely play. He's an athletic freak.
