    Being a fat boy myself...

    I love Wes Rea. Only guy we have over 5'11" 155. Does it look like the hitch in his swing is getting worse?

    I played "fat base" myself. Rea looks tobe getting healthy and having better AB's to me. You have to remember he sat out about 15 games. He needs AB's to get into mid season form- because it's not midseason for him yet.

    As far as his swing, it looks better. He is doing a better job of not opening his hips to early, which caused him to pull off the breaking ball last year. He's vulnerable on his hands right now- but with more AB's that should take care of itself.

    We really need Wes to get healthy and get his bat going. Him locking down the 4-hole & providing some real protection for Renfroe would be HUGE for our lineup. That said, he's still the only other guy besides Renfroe who really seems to WANT to be at the plate in RBI situations right now.

    Part of me would like to see renfroe, rea and frazier 3-5 maybe detz at lead off?
