Maybe a dumb question: Why are the bears so worried about us when the COI is coming?
Inquiring minds want to know.
The Plantation has never won an SEC regular season Championship in ANY men's sport with an integrated team. That defines irrelevance.

Because recruiting is their bread & butter & any hindrance to that is considered a threat. They're not going to slow down on recruiting on in-state kids cause that's not seen as so far fetched in the NCAA's eyes. But it may slow them down on out-of-state guys that have no ties to their program & are considered by all acct's a lock to another program.

Because the Bears only REALLY care about their public image and being able to control the "narrative" on everything. NCAA penalties are secondary. Most self-absorbed group ever known to man.
-
They're going to get hammered by the NCAA. C34 at SP would have been considered beyond disastrous, damn near apocalyptic, and they were not going to even let something like that begin to bloom.
And this is just the beginning. It will get worse.

Too bad it didn't work out for C34...it would've been a win win for he and MSU. C34 gets to coach at a school with elite talent in the state and Pogue can't shepherd kids to OM at the AL/MS all-star game.
