The best is the last part.
He says for a FACT that there will be a second letter or an amended one to the current NOA
He thinks it works in TSUN favor to have this all wrapped up in one deal but he thinks it will be done in 2 separate deals which will be bad for them
Said if this was all part of the Opportunity fund it would be easy to quash all of this but nothing has come from UM
That these funds are usually handled through the compliance dept and well documented
Says all cards are off the table on what will happen to them now.

They probably just happened to lose all the documentation for this exact case. No biggie accidents happen. LOL

A couple more tidbits:
- Opportunity fund was set up to (for example) help a guy from California to fly home to attend grandmas funeral. It was NOT intended to pay momma's bills or to pay the rent. It's not a petty cash fund.
- Steve is tired of hearing the bearshark line "we run a clean program". "No. You DON'T run a clean program. I'm tired of hearing this lie."
-
This has been one of the most enjoyable internet days in a long time.

Exactly, if they claim they have a fund set aside that paid for a power bill for a player that is a huge violation. Are they actually saying that's the purpose money in that fund was used?

What is hilarious is they think people will overlook the fact of the text said "that isn't the exact agreed amount". So that lets you know he was receiving a set amount that this request exceeds and he is asking a coach not a financial aid advisor.

"they" didn't say it. Chuck Roundsaville said it as a possible reason for the conversation. Nobody bought it. Chuck even quantified it as saying he couldn't determine the 'tone' of the conversation and that it was speculation.
The idea that the conversations were already known by the NCAA goes completely against everything they've said since the noa came out. Namely that it wasn't this administration.
No woodward and Bernstein expose could have done the damage last night did. I just want to know who Miss. State fans collectively owe this thanks to . Whomever you are mr hacker, I owe you.

The bottom line in all of this is Tunsil knew EXACTLY what picture the reporter was talking about, AND he knew EXACTLY what the reporter was getting at when he asked the question. He flat out said he "made a mistake" and never once even hinted that the pics MIGHT be fake. He confirmed they were real and the question about receiving money from a coach can't me misconstrued any other way, it was a simple yes or no answer.
And he said yes.

He even knew that he was talking about him being paid by a coach. The reporter even repeated it to verify he knew what he was talking about. Tunsil knew exactly what pic he was talking about but they probably told him to own up to what was leaked and didn't think about everything he would own up to.
