WHAT TO NOTE AS MSU PLAYS GEORGIA . . .
- Mississippi State is coming off a nice, 32-point win against Arkansas on Tuesday. It marked the first time MSU won by 30-plus points since a 90-53 (37) win against Auburn on Jan. 5, 2005.
- It was also the first time the Bulldogs held an SEC foe below 50 points since Georgia on Jan. 12, 2008, in a 60-49 win.
- Arkansas? 46 points, 16 field goals, one 3-pointer and .222 shooting percentage were the fewest MSU has allowed this year on those respective categories.
- Five of the Bulldogs? eight SEC losses this year have been by six points or less (combined 17 points, 3.4 average). All eight have been by an average of 6.5 points.
- Mississippi State is looking to snap a a three-game losing streak overall to Georgia and also a three-game losing streak to UGA at the Hump. MSU?s last win here was 2010.

I think so. UGA has a very similar lineup to Arkansas. If we play defense like we did Tuesday and get the calls like we did, we should easily win this game. The key to me is will we get the home calls again this game.

No way he scores 37 on us at our place this year especially if we play the defense we did on Tuesday. We win today and 8th-9th place in the conference is within two games. Pretty big game today.

We are down 12-8 will get the ball and are at home. If they leave Newman open like that, he will get 20+. We will be fine though.
