Todd McShay's top 10 QB's for the draft

    1. Bridgewater- Louisville
    2. Hundley- UCLA
    3. Morris- Miami
    4. McCarron- Bama
    5. Boyd- Clemson
    6. Mariota- Oregon
    7. Johnny SoapOpera- A&M
    8. Thomas- VT
    9. Miller- OSU
    10. Murray- Georgia

Big year for QB's it appears- he has Manziel 7th, but 58th overall...usually 10-12 QB's are picked- number 7 at 58th would be alot....makes you wonder where he has Russell

I'd be willing to bet a NFL team would take Tyler over Manziel. I would if I was a NFL team. Key word here being NFL.

Mainly because of Manziel's character issues.

That and while he is athletic and has a good release, I've never seen Murray display good accuracy.

There is no way in hell this happens unless Johnny SoapOpera has complete meltdown.

Russell is on the fringe imo- he really has the chance to show he belongs and can play his way into it- or he can play his way out of it the first 3 weeks of the season

Well, Manziel does appear to be potentially having a meltdown. Or at least the beginnings of one.

I do agree that Tyler has to play his way into it though.

If TR executes in the under center plays this year and gets rid of the ball quicker, he could make a nice jump on that list

Russell just has to be good enough during the season to be given a serious look... His intangibles are what will get him in...

I wonder how many on that list are as accurate as Russell with arm strength to go along with

TR has all the tools. He will be on an NFL roster at this time next season if he wants to be.

Russell has a chance to up his stock this season, I think he needs to show he can make quicker decisions, quicker release and improve some on his accuracy.

If your a pure pocket passer in the nfl you better have a cannon for an arm and be accurate as hell, if you can move around better than average you can offset those things to a degree...Russell isn't very mobile.
