Right--We just played back to back on the road in the 2 hardest places to win. We have gotten our asses kick in Hogville when we had great teams. We looked pretty good in both losses. Chicken is starting to be hell on wheels. Q needs to just take Ready's spot. Put Flat top Fred in Daniels' spot and let's play some man defense. Newman will continue to get better. I like the 3 headed monster of Chicken-Newman and Q they can drive and shoot. turn their asses loose. Ready killed us on defense and Daniels just isn't SEC ready.

Ready IMO should not start takes terrible shots early in the shot clock doesn't pass to Malik at all. Malik also has to take more shots has to. He's got to learn ok I need to take over this game mentality. I also believe Q needs to start in Ready's place him or Malik either one

Sword is scoring well. Here's his stats in sec games...

    aTm -- 7 pts 3 assists 5 TO
    Ark -- 21 pts 0 assists. 6 TO
    Kentucky -- 20 pts 1 assists 5 TO

    Sec avg ... 16 pts 1.3 assists 5.3 TO

Points are great, but assist to TO ratio is awful.

Up until four years ago we only worried about post season loses. We went from being a consistant top five SEC team to a consistant bottom five.

Hard to win games when he is turning it over so much. Would be an interesting stat to find out how many points teams are scoring off of Sword's turnovers. If we are going to turn a corner, we need Q and Malik to step it up and Sword to average say 4-6 less and 4 less turnovers. He doesn't need to have the ball in his hands so much.

I thought it was obvious that we played better with Q and Malik in the game. I would go to a three guard lineup.

We don't really need for Chicken to be assist Guy. When he gets the rock he is shooting or driving to the rack. sometimes he gets a little out of control. Some of his TOs are charges. He made some good drops to Ware who fumbled it out of bounds. He will get better with the TOs.

He's a senior making the same turnovers he did when he was a freshman. He would play well and score but also would make turnovers like he did against A&M and we wouldn't even get a shot off. I like the fact he is scoring but he shouldn't be our first option. Since the SEC season started, it looks like he has just said **** it and is making himself our first option. If we are going to be the best team we can be this year, he needs to understand he isn't the first option. If he keeps doing what he is doing, we won't. We are 0-3 with his way. We have a great chance to beat Tennessee this weekend. We will need our team to play like a team though.
