    I've been told by several people than he's coming back in a back up role in case there's injuries on the interior. Obviously huge to have him as a leader, mentor and insurance policy in the case we experience multiple injuries.

    Tobias is on the 105 man roster so he has his 6th year of eligibility and I assume a scholarship (loss of Sanders, Hughes, Sandberg and Gray open a few up). But he hasn't been practicing, and hasn't practiced since the bowl game. I believe he is focusing on coaching, almost like a GA that could play if needed. My guess is he would only be used if Malone is injured, but I'd assume he'd need to practice a little to get into football shape if there are any plans of him playing at all. He might just be skipping the initial workouts and will start getting on the field when the season gets closer.
