    Shump's 40 time

Does anyone know his 40 time? He should've gotten the corner there.

JRob ran a 4.7+ at the combine. If he ran a 4.7, Shump has to be 4.8-4.9........

It's not just speed either. He lacks vision and has horrible feet. You don't have to be a track star but you need good feet and balance and he has none of the above. NONE! He should only play on special teams, short yardage situations and to stay in to block in passing situations.

This. It's not about his speed or lack thereof. It's everything else that makes one an effective RB. He's a FB, period.

The funny part was Gus Walley blocked his guy and got him on the ground and looked at Shump like "really?" and then had to block his guy again.

Shump is a pretty good receiver out of the backfield and a good pass blocker, but damn is he an awful RB.

Holloway, on the other hand, looked pretty good!

Brandon Hollaway 5 carries 42 yards, 8.4 YPC. The holes are there! We just need a back to hit them.

O.k., I'll go ahead and say it. I've seen enough of a sample size now to say that

Shump should've been moved to OLB.

I think he would be great at OLB.

Shumpert just doesn't have the burst needed to hit the hole. He also runs high and doesn't break tackles.

We will need a viable running game against Atm. I sure hope Mullen realizes that Brandon Holloway is the better option at RB. Shump is gonna make me throw something at my TV.
