    1) Hard to blame SP when they're being so effective running it.

    2) Lance Pogue = Ed Stanley 2.0. Great defensive coach, shitty offensive coach who refuses to pass. He costs SP wins and does less with more.

    4th qtr highlights

SP extends lead to 35-18 on a 7 yd run.
Clinton scored and kicked XP to make it 35-25.
Clinton converted on-side kick with 2:32 left at SP 47. After a completion and pass interference penalty, Clinton stalled and attempted a field goal that was no good. Score remained 35-25. That is now 10 pts not cashed in by Clinton special teams, which is the difference in the game.
SP took over and ran out the clock.

Final South Panola 35 Clinton 25

SP running back Donald Twilley finished with 314 yards rushing.
SP throws 1 pass for the game.

I didn't see the game, only listened on radio, but it seems like Clinton needs to take a cue from SP....find a QB to manage things and let Akers play his natural position of RB.

Twilley was their QB , not RB. Playing first HS game due to QB being out with injury, therefore no passing

Was there, Akers best player on the field by a long shot! SP just bottled him up with lots of pressure. Their defense is really quick and very physical.
