Missouri & Southern Miss left out

Mizzou was 15-15 in the SEC with an RPI of 56. Not a great RPI, but surprised they didn't make it.

Southern Miss was 19-10 CUSA with RPI of 55.

The Big 10 got five teams in (!?)

Committee trying to spread out the teams from all over the country. Getting many more upper east coast and Midwest teams in the regionals.

Shame since USM beat Ole Miss 2 out of 2 this season.

Very disappointing seeing the University of Mississippi in, while we are left out. Totally unacceptable.

Arky last SEC team in with rpi of 35. Yet Oregon makes it with an rpi if 62 and SOS of 85. Go figure.

Only SEVEN SEC squads in postseason. SEVEN. Insert comment about MSU dragging down the rest of the SEC.

Bama had an rpi of 45. SOS was #3 in the country but didn't make it. SEC was the #1 rpi conference in front of the ACC. However, Oregon with their 62 rpi and 85 sos was 16-14 in the Pac-12 while Bama was 12-18 in the SEC. Goes to prove how critical it is to stay .500 in your conference, no matter what your rpi/sos is. We have our work cut out for us going forward.

Total BS. Also Missouri State is a National seed??? The committee is a disgrace. Oregon in is the smoking gun of ineptitude. So if you do not get above .500 in your Number One rated Conferenc then you do not get in BUT be abouve .500 in a crappy conference and will roll out the red carpet.

Yes this will come back to bite us in the butt.

Sometimes the committee does this to stick it to the SEC to try to make Yankees care about college baseball- and it never works. Meanwhile, they water down the tournament.

Very true. This will NOT be the best teams available. the best teams so that everyone gets to play. They might as well not keep score this year. Everyone gets a trophy.
