    Dakota not an "established" passer????

    http://www.cfbstats.com/2014/leader/...02/sort08.html

2nd in the SEC in passing for 2014- 3,449 yards
3rd in the SEC in completion percentage- 61.6% (and we didnt throw bubble screens)
2nd in the SEC in passing TD's
Orange Bowl passing record- 453 yards

What does it take exactly for one to become an "established" passer if those numbers dont do it???

Shhhhh, not so loud. Let's just fly under the Radar and knock their dick's in their watch pocket. We are always better with a chip on our shoulders.

It's groupthink. Everyone blindly says Dak can't pass because he is a dual threat QB with good running ability; therefore, it must be true. Statistically, he is by far the most established returning passer in the conference, and it's not even close.

    Dak's QB rating in 2014: 151.72

    Jameis Winston in 2014: 145.53
Manzeil in 2012 (his Heisman years): 155.32
    Aaron Murray in 2011: 146.41

Bo "the great passing QB ever in this state not named Manning" Wallace's QB rating never got above 143 for a single season- but don't ever tell anyone in the media that Dak could throw it as well as or better than Bo.

Dak was 14th in the NCAA in passer rating, and

10 of those ahead of him are gone (assuming all those saying SR are not returning). http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/f...t/individual/8

Obviously there could be QB's that were behind Dak in 2014 (or not playing) that could pass him in 2015, but right now Dak is one of the TOP 4 returning passers in the NCAA.

Who's saying that he isn't an established passer?

I feel after another summer at the Manning passing Academy he will come back even better this fall with his returning WRs

My favorite part is how one particular fan base frequently calls Dak a "Fullback at Quarterback," yet, as C34 has pointed out, Dak had better PASSING stats his junior year than their Golden Child (Eli Manning) did in his Junior year. Then you add in Dak's running ability and it's pretty eye-opening....

I feel like all these "experts" forget everything during the offseason and when it comes time to start making lists during the summer they revert to the typical power names - Alabama, Auburn, LSU. Every. Single. Year.

And that dipshit bearshart fan that calls every call-in show to talk about Dak isn't a very good QB over and over and over and over.

Dak also had VERY comparable numbers to Eli his senior year when he finished 3rd in Heisman voting. Actually had a higher rating and yards per attempt. Dak also just happened to add an extra 980 yards rushing and some receiving. His royal highness the Prince of Footbaland Eli torched the ground for an impressive -28 yards rushing his senior year.

You want to piss of a bear...post those stats side by side and show them that Dak was a better QB than Eli. This is what happens when they realize this fact:

That's hilarious, I just don't of any UM fans that have ever realized it.

First off, people must not realize that you don't have to be an "established passer" by NFL standards to be a great college QB. Dak has shown that he can lead our offense perfectly fine. If we struggle this year, it dang sure won't be due to our offense. We broke records last year, and we have more playmakers this year.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to starkvegasdawg again.

Sorry, I regret that all I can do is say +1 for that one.
