It's the roller coaster of hope that this program keeps us on that makes it hell being a State fan. - CadaverDawg, 10/15/22

Mullen had Sallach all but moved into the office role before Brewster left, but now that doesn't seem like an option. Wouldn't it make sense to move the least valuable on the field coach to the office? Has Sallach all of sudden become an irreplaceable TE coach?

No they were not but GA Tech wasn't a bad offense by any stretch. But tackling was an issue at the end of the season including the bowl game. That a lot of time has to do with fatigue. Look, how much had to do with fatigue, mental let down, lack of DC, etc. I don't know. Was it all just part of the problem? But with more teams going to hurry up I think it is going to continue to be an issue unless you find a way to limit the number of plays a player plays or adjust the S & C to compensate. Like I said it's just a theory and not just for our team either.

he must be good with film, game planning, and working with the TEs. I have a feeling it's because Hev doesn't want to have to work with the TEs half the time though. It would drastically change the day to day practice schemes... half the time the TEs would be with the OL, the other half with the WRs. When they do circuits, it makes it difficult and forces Hev and Gonzo to spend less time with their core groups during those sessions.
