Think about it, if our defense gets half the kick in production that Manny brought
to us the first time he was here, the first year at TU or the first year at LaTech we could be in for a very special season next year. Would have liked to had that kind of kick in production this year.
We would discussing our upcoming game with Oregon/OSU, if we had that kind of defensive kick in production this year.

You're correct about the Michigan scores...they may not have been the first two possessions, but they were both early. Manny adjusted and they didn't sniff the endzone the rest of the game.
I feel the same way that you do. My original thought was "no".....but now that I have taken time to look at everything, and look back at his defenses, I'm pretty excited actually.

Chris White was such a monster that year. Wish health hadn't eluded him in the NFL...

If we can pull off another 10 or 10+ win season next year, I would suspect that Manny's recruiting prowess would take a great leap. Great recruiters don't just happen overnight, it takes experience and a track record of success on the field, so maybe we can get that ball rolling.
