Baseball thoughts
Cohen's interview: they are putting Britton more at 2B says he's a better fit there. Well I thought he did pretty darn good at 3B last year. Heck and Holland are starters to me. Reynolds has shown he is good but Britton is so much more experienced at 3B. I am sure it will work out.
Rea has really turned the corner. He will have a good year.
Pitching is so deep and talented.

So heck and Holland are battling it out at SS?
That surprises me, I thought the narrative was that they would be one hell of a DP combo. (I realize that phrase can be misinterpreted, but screw it I'm leaving it).
Not going to speculate on what that means re: who is performing or not performing, I trust John to put the best product on the field.
Love seeing that about the pitching staff. Losing Lindy and Holder is a lot to replace.

Important to note that we're deep in tinker-time right now... Wouldn't try to make too much of where we're trying guys in the field just yet.
I think Holland, Heck, and Britton will make up the infield. I can't imagine why we would mess with Britton at 3B when he was the first plus defender we've had over there in quite awhile and he has far too good of arm to waste at 2B IMO. That is, unless Holland has an absolute cannon. Just seems to me the best fit is Britton at 3B, Holland at SS, and Britton at 2B...

The 5-4-3 double play will get interesting for sure.

Yeah, meant to say Heck at 2B...

Britton has one of the best arms in America. Having him at anywhere but 3rd is dumb. Period.

Could be to just help develop him some for post college baseball. His bat doesn't have the power most mlb teams are going to want from 3b types so I'm guessing his best bet might be as a plus glove 2b that could do 3b as well

Britton played some second base in the Cape. I wouldn't read too much into this at this point. I think they really like Luke Reynolds and want to get him into the lineup someway though.
