He's invited to New York as of today. Gurley had a good game - he's dropping like a rock.

When in your life did you EVER expect to see a MSU player in NYC for the award, much less a QB????

I really think he will win it if he stays healthy..... He plays well in big games and we have plenty of those coming up which will be nationally televised. Even if we lose to TAMU, he will put up big numbers on their soft defense

Durability is more important than ability right now. Need to win and he doesn't have to do it all by himself. Hand 13 the rock sometimes.

Like it or not, though, we have to win. Seems like every winner comes from a team that wins at least 10 games and usually in contention for the national title. I know there is a rare exception but very rare.

JRob's health means almost as much to Dak's chances as his own.

One thing to keep in mind, unless we somehow make it to ATL he won't have a chance to make a statement to end the season; beating up vandy and ole miss, both of which will likely be .500 or less isn't going to help his cause. Though his stats should easily be padded in those games
