This Johnson is a pure WR. I wonder if the coaches are going to accept his commitment. If they do, I think that closes the door on Jonas Spivey.
Personally, I think it is a great get, from a power Bham high school.

Any time we can grab a great player out of Hoover HS is a great day.

not sure where y'all get your info, but this kid is 100 percent going to be moved to TE for us just as Jay Johnson was (unless somehow Jay Johnson ended up at DE). He and Spivey not really competing for spots unless they were both competing for best available which is Spivey's only chance. Spivey is competing w/ Keith Mixon, Keenan Barnes, Amonte Caban - guys like that.

Yeah this isn't an either or for Spivey at all. This class is going to be big with some of the back signing. Probably 30-31 per Paul.
Ronald Cochran my end up as part of the 2014 class due to some grade casualties. Word is he's taking classes on campus now and not Greyshirting. He's another body for the OL.

He's not 100% moving to TE. After running a 4.5 at our June camp the coaches are convinced he can play WR which is what he wants. Now if gains 20-30lbs he's currently around 220lbs then maybe. Below are his Jr highlights.

Good kid, long way from being SEC ready, but Im glad we are enrolling him for last recruiting class since we are doing so well with this recruiting class, would hate to miss out on a 2015 stud because we greyshirted Cochran.
Plus its good for Cochran so that he can start working out with team and get the transformation going.

I think once we get to 23-24 commits, we are going to slow down on taking commits. I think we are going to see how kids are progressing in their senior years and go from there. Plus, we only have 1 true OL commit right now, and I don't see how we don't sign a total of five. Maybe even six, if we sign 2 Juco OL and then 4 HS OL.
