    Joker Phillips steps down as WR coach at Florida

    Looks like Joker is out at Florida and Chris Leak will now be the wide receivers coach.

    Very odd timing for him to step down. I read somewhere that he and Muschamp didn't get along and it sounds like he was upset by not getting promoted to OC.

    Any chance that we could add him to the staff?

    I would love to add bring Joker in as the TEs coach and finally move Sallach to an office job. I know that Joker is a stud recruiter and I believe he and David Turner are very tight. I could be wrong, but I believe Joker is the reason that David Turner left MSU a few years ago.

    Thoughts?

    he and Turner are tight so it could be a possibility. Doubt CDM would disrupt anything this close to the season though.

    Sallach is the only one I'd want him to replace, but I think Hack is right that it won't happen at this time of year. Maybe they'll privately work something out for him to join right after the season or something.
