Maybe he had his heart set on the Asstros Unis and we broke it by just giving him useful bats and gloves. Didn't realize a bat had to be a certain color. Did he want the platinum color? Maybe a midnight chrome? Odd

Exactly, their players are good MS boys. Their coach? Is he even from MS? Those tweets were class acts, and all thats needed. In that interview on SC, all their coach had to say was "yes, thanks for that, it was greatly appreciated", but no, he went the "Popovitch route".

Good for them. They must have learned some common decency, courtesy, and professionalism from their parents. They certainly didn't get it from their coach. Omar could take some instruction from his players next practice in how to be a more grateful, humble person in situations that call for such.

That's all I was trying to say earlier. Johnson obviously represents the university but he was definitely expressing his opinion -- not something shared by a large portion of the JSU fanbase.

I'm sure it's probably a little tiring to constantly hear about how great it is that Mississippi State loaned you some equipment...but it doesn't matter. You still just publicly say, thank you, and show appreciation. Because it looks better for you, not for Mississippi State. We're going to get good press on it no matter what, but you just made it about yourself and what a monumental dick you are. Smart move.

This should be a good thing for both of us. But Omar Johnson has decided to ruin it for JSU. They're getting a lot of exposure and they should maximize it because of the win over ULL and the feel good story. This should be good for their recruiting and instead he comes across as a turd.

He may be tired of hearing about how we donated equipment to them, but this is just as good for them IF he would have handled it correctly- or just logically. He can't sit there and tell me that he can't use a bunch of donated equipment even if it's just practice because it's the "wrong color"?

Odd, why would someone tell those players to remove the tweets? This is so weird. Bus burns down, MSU donates FREE equipment. Say thanks. End of story. How's this complicated?
