Thurs night vikings cooking thread
Brined some fresh chicken two nights ago. Let it sit in buttermilk all last night. Egg wash with heavy louisiana. Flour with pepper, salt, cayenne and paprika for color. Heat the canola up to 350. Double dipped those bad boys, let them set up for an hour and dropped them.
Then I took my homemade waffle batter. Prepared the waffles. For my go to sauce, i went to my syrup, honey and louisiana mixture.
Put fried chicken on waffle, dumped my syrup glaze and topped with another waffle.
Honey hush.

I've never tried chicken & waffles.

Gyro at keifers and ice water. Probably have a miller fortune for a night cap.
