    Since 2006

@RattStevens: Since 2006, Harvard has as many NCAA tournament appearances (2) as Mississippi State does and has more NCAAT wins with 2, State has 1

Put them in the SEC and they never even get close to going. Heck put them in any BCS conference and they don't go.

What is so amazing about that fact? I don't really get the wow factor.

Put us in their conference, and we still don't go.

I think the point was we have been about as relevant to college basketball the last 9 years as Harvard

Right, so have half the teams in major conferences across the country. Anyone who has watched any college basketball knows a number of mid-majors are consistently better than a good number of big schools.

Not sure the relevance. This number will continue to get wider too. This might make sense if the Stands man was still coaching. But he is not. Instead we have the man with two first names steering the bus. Time to get to work ole Ricky Ray!

Maybe we can become one of the least relevant teams in college basketball. Is there something that measures that? We certainly are the least relevant in the SEC. That has got to count for something.

I just laugh when Alabama fans are mad because they kept Grant. I tell them at least you aren't an MSU fan. At this point, Grant would be a huge upgrade to what we have and that is saying something....

Actually, that figure is wrong. They have been three straight years but two of those years were under the mighty Ray's watch. Not that it really matters. Stevens is a moron. Took me 10 seconds to dispute his facts.

Bill Battle doesn't need the AD job at Alabama and has football national championships to fall on. All of the local radio shows over here are blasting Battle for keeping Grant a sixth year. I also don't think Battle thought Auburn would get Pearl. I think if he had to do it over again. They would have been the ones to grab Pearl. Trust me. Them keeping Grant was not a popular decision at all.
