Oak Grove Boy catches record catfish

114 lb monster. Looks bigger than the dang kid. Bet it was fun reeling that one in. I could be wrong but that looks like a cheap reel on a 12 ft ugly stick. Just goes to show you we can spend a small fortune on equipment but it doesn't catch the fish, the fisherman does!

pretty cool ... I wonder how that big tough rascal will taste ... as with redfish, I think the smaller catfish eat much better than the big ones
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Probably not very good. Def a coubillion candidate. As some quick googling and such, is say that fish is 25 years old minimum. Fun catch though, especially for the kid.

That is crazy big. I agree with fishdawg on it not being very good to eat. Personally I like catfish under 5 pounds for cooking but as far as catching goes the bigger the better.
