    Good Camping Spots in GA?

My son is finally of age to go camping in GA. I want to take him somewhere cool that had som good activities for him and will keep him from getting bored.

I'm willing to travel a little but it really needs to be close to Atlanta. we've got tee ball every Saturday now and would need to go after that for an overnight trip.

Amicalola Falls or Unicoi are two of my favorites. Lots of good options in North GA all less than 2 hrs from Atl.
It's an obsession but it's pleasing

Your only problem is going to be making a decision. Unlimited options. I second Amicalola Falls. Anything around Helen or Dahlonega. Tallulah Falls is nice too.

I absolutely love that area. If I could find a high paying, convenient job in Atlanta (yeah I know, pipe dream), I would consider living up there and commuting an hour and a half every day.

I've been to Helen and Dalanoga but not Tallulah Falls. I'll have to check that, Amicalola, and Unicoi out.

    thanks guys.
