    Settle a bet: HBO or Showtime

    The wife thinks Showtime is putting out the best TV shows. I say it's HBO and not even close.

    Sopranos was the show that broke ground for the premium channel series becoming the hottest show on TV. you forgot Rome.

    I have HBO and I don't have Showtime. My wallet votes HBO.

    I have both and I like HBO better.

    You forgot Hello Ladies. Season 1 was hilarious. Don't know when/if there will be a season 2 though.

    Overall HBO, but I think The Tudors (Showtime) is my favorite show from the two networks.
