We need a stud recruiter.if he does ST fine, but 1st priority should be recruiterIMO

we NEED another stud recruiter on this staff. If this guy can hit La and Tx that would be fantastic.

Yes ST was a problem last year. But we got to land more studs in recruiting....

He does already for a commit from a kid named Alfred Smith that is from Louisiana. 3* with offers from florida, clemson, duke, MSU, OM, tennessee, nebraska. Pretty solid offer list and would likely flip to us if we hired Johnson. Their other 2015 commit is also from his recruiting area.

IMO a likely scenario for coaching moves would be:
    Brian Johnson - QB/CO-OC
    Steed LOBO - TE/CO-OC
    Billy G. - Passing Game Coordinator/ST coach

Like Tood said earlier, I wouldn't be opposed to us hiring a stud ST coach that just focuses on that, but you rarely see somebody just coaching ST. If we do John Baxter come on down!

if we hire him Gonzo will likely be named OC.

Makes a lot of sense to replace Les with him from a recruiting standpoint. same general area although the six counties on the coast would be new territory for him.

Agreed... That was the first thing that popped out at me about Johnson.

Could we just expand Hughes down to the coast as well? Hell, he's already covering primary on all of MS it seems like. He needs a raise.

We damn sure need a ST coach in this cycle. Hire a ST coordinator and give him TEs, give Gonzo OC title, make Johnson co-OC, and let's roll.
