State and OM vs the SEC East since expansion in 1992

    stolen from SECRant:

    Ole Miss - 30-36

    14-8 v. Vanderbilt
    3-12 v. Georgia
    5-3 v. Kentucky
    4-2 v. South Carolina
    3-3 v. Florida
    1-5 v. Tennessee
    0-3 v. Missouri

    Mississippi State - 32-33

    14-8 v. Kentucky
    6-9 v. South Carolina
    4-4 v. Florida
    2-6 v. Tennessee
    5-1 v. Vanderbilt
    1-5 v. Georgia

just thought this was an interesting look. No major points or anything except that we are 32-32 in the reg season, 0-1 in SEC title games. Mullen is 7-3 so far

Kentucky is about to get a lot tougher, and Vandy a lot easier.

I don't know how much easier Vandy could have been all those years Ole Miss lost to them. I seem to remember us sucking really bad and beating above average UK teams too.

It's all relative. If UK does extremely well this season they'll lose their coach. UK and Vandy are the pits, while MSU and OMU are just cool enough to keep their coaches if they're good enough to be wanted. Unfortunately for the both of us they haven't been wanted.

I agree on UK, I just don't see them climbing out of the basement until they fully commit to being a football school and unless they can keep Stoops for 5+ years. Teams expect to beat UK and as we all know. that matters in this league (see us vs. LSU).

Kentucky will get tougher, and it's a much better job the Vandy.
