Meyer: "yeah, I do Danny-boy. He stays on their ass and is very prepared"

I would love to hear his comparison of athletes after he has been here about a month.

Here is a write up on him from back in 2009:
http://toledo.scout.com/2/832580.html
Here is the opening paragraph:
The Toledo Rockets football program is hard at work with winter workouts right now and the program has a new Director of Speed, Strength and Conditioning. His name is Rick Court, and he comes from what is considered one of the best strength and conditioning staffs in the country.

I'll take it.
ETA: He played baseball at Michigan State and describes himself as 'juice man' on twitter. Looks like he'll fit right in.

I like that he's coming from a big time program. Hope he's got an in-your-face attitude.

So urban just gives up his S&C coach? Surely if he was great urban would have been able to keep him. Although i do believe DM may have had a previous relationship with this guy in Bowling green so maybe he wanted to work for dan instead of urban? Just seems a bit odd to me.

He was the assistant S&C guy at OSU. Nothing strange about it.

This guy was an assistant S&C coach at OSU. So it's a promotion for him.

That makes a lot more sense then. Thanks for getting me straight. With that note, sounds like a great hire.

Has been the head guy before, though...at BG, Toledo, and San Diego State. Tough to evaluate strength coaches, but his resume seems about as good as any, I guess.
