    Draft thread

Pats just traded for 4 picks. They are the best at drafting super star in late rounds.

I think Manti Te'o is enrolled in a mock draft.

Patterson from Tennessee was the best offensive player we faced last year. With 29th pick up next, Patterson is already a steal for whoever takes him.

I see Slay going soon and Banks a round or two later.

Sweet Caroline is the the song they play at the BoSox games. Just like Cotten Eye Joe at Camden Yards.

    Harvin plays for Seattle now.

    Yea, Bills are dumb.

If manti is drafted in first round, that GM should be fired.

Elam it is. They just replaced Reed for the next 5-10 years. Saints could've gotten that same value 15 players later. Kills me. it's like their GM is steadily drunk or something, for the past 20 years.

It is possible that Slay goes before Banks. However, I would be very surprised if Banks was a round or two later. That is unless Slay is very late in one round and Banks is very early in the other. I can't see Banks going more than 10-12 picks later than Slay. I could be wrong.

It really all depends on need... several teams took a CB in the first round. I still think Banks goes before Slay. I think both players will play in the league for a long time.

Mike Slive should put a fence around the SEC and let SEC teams draft players inside the fence.

After 3 rounds, LSU has 6 draft picks and the B1G has 7.

And all 6 from defense. Half of there defensive starters get drafted in the first three rounds, let that sink in.

I would say that's an indictment that lsu has a poor coach.

Defense wasn't the problem for lsu, they only gave up 14 in the loss to Florida and it took a perfect play call by bama to beat them. The worst defensive game was probably Clemson where you have to assume they didn't get up for it as much as they would've a bcs game.

Lsu has talent on offense also. Les miles is a cool guy and really good recruiter, but he's not that good of a head coach. Even the national championship year he lost 2 games. The problem is you can't get rid of a guy that wins 8-11 games a year, but they should win 11-12 every year.

SEC + huge budget + top dollar assistant coaches = success with any half competent head coach
