The kid knows where he is going. It should be entertaining to see how he works the recruiting crowd for the next month.

He needs to know that the bears don't give on shit about him, State does. And this all about taking a jab at State. We've lost guys in the past because we were insecure or stupid. Now, things like that have to change. We should show recruits love, not animosity, because it's a well known psychological fact that people want to do their best for someone that's mad at them. **

I promise I'm not picking a fight with you here but you made leap in that last post.
Fans playing nice and staffs playing nice are not the same animal.
Either the staff hasn't been playing nice and that's why om has not won on the field against us but once in 5 yrs or they have been playing nice and and it works.
Either way you do have a decent if not intended point. That is to say we should not pretend that po lil ol Msu is getting our ass handed to us just because the cl and scout and rivals don't rate our class as high as we'd like. Scout rivals and fans are just side notes in the results during the season.

I see your point. I was mostly talking about fan involvement in this type of thing. It seems like their fans help their coaches as much as possible, and ours do not. Think about this: If we had had enough sense to show CJ some love in 2010, maybe he would be making plays in Maroon and White and not wasting his career up there. It's just my point that our fans should do nothing while theirs toe the party line and get on the same page with this kind of stuff.

I am fired up about this because it pisses me off. They pull shit like this every year, and our fans sit back with our thumbs in our rectums and watch, or we lose our shit and alienate these kids. We've been the fiddle long enough. Their fans and coaches send snapshots and tweets to plays all the time of negative shit we say. You think they don't? Ask C34, Engie, Hack any of these guys. Bear fans play a huge role in recruiting. It's time we did too. They want to play dirty. Hell, we're "farmers" remember? We've shared a state with that sack of dung for the last 130+ years. We're well versed with dirt.
There is only so long you can have this shit pie shoved in your face before you swing back. We didn't under JWS. Don't lets do that again.

Fans need to show the guys the twitter love. That's just part of the modern day landscape. So is linking things like what Engie posted.
Anything else past that is not allowed by the NCAA and frowned upon here at Elitedawgs

CJ was three years ago. Since then Ole Miss has only "flipped" and I use that term very loosely- Kalio Moore.
In the meantime, we have landed PJ Jones, Dee Arrington, Quay, Will Redmond, Nick James, Richie Brown, Ashton Shumpert, and Chris Jones among others that Ole Miss wanted badly since the Army All-American Game debacle.
In other words- we've had as many recruits flip to La Tech as we have had to Ole Miss since 2011.
