    Connor Solerno LHP from NC

Seems we beat out vitello for the top lhp in the ?27 class. This one?s on Parker as the kid didn?t have a previous relationship with O?Conner. 95-98 mph fastball.

Of course, it is highly unlikely that he makes it past the draft.

Yeah. Dude legit looks like a MLB pitcher right now. If he is topping out at 96-97 there is no telling how high it could get to when he is 18.

O?Connor plus our stadium, support, and NIL gets you this. We are about to have a CRAZY 27 class.

After Salerno committed Fischer Howell and Sullivan Reed were in his twitter announcement indicating that more were coming and it was going to be good.

    This will continue because:

    1) Parker has been at State awhile now and built a brand
    2) BOC obviously
    3) Dolla bills ya'll. We are funding baseball now the way Tenn/A&M/Tex/LSU funds baseball.

    1) I think that is true but also I think we are investing more in pitching this time around. Our pitching staff is going to be noticeably deeper this year. Let me put it this way- Pico who was a very good pitcher for us would likely be the Sunday guy for us if he was still on the team. That was our ace last year. Siary would have been coming out of the pen.
    2) This sort of goes hand in hand with your last point. BOC knows we are going to invest in baseball and he has shown that he can coach and win a NC. His staff is legit.
    3) Yes we are. With Cohen gone we are able to really tap into every resource like never before in baseball. I think hiring BOC was a pivotal moment in MSU baseball history up there with the hiring of Ron Polk in 1976, hiring Cohen because I do not believe we have a NC without him and he was what the program needed at the time in 2009 even though it led to some divisions, winning the NC in 2021, and then the hiring of BOC.
