Any word on Fluff?
Just a thumbs up or thumbs down if you don't want to put any statements out there. See some good reports on Twitter but not from anybody known to be a reputable source.

Cautious optimism. He's in a boot right now so we know it's not a knee and he can put pressure on it so I think that takes out a fracture. Best case scenario is high ankle sprain, which will still be tough to come back from this year.

Just get him back for Ole Miss. we can beat Arkansas without him, need to be healthy and play our best game of the year against OM

Fibula is a non weight bearing bone IF that is fractured so to be technical because I can't help myself- it is possible that he could bear weight depending on what is fractured and where it is.
My guess reading between the lines is it is a sprain and there is a chance it could be a low ankle sprain too.

We need Reese back too.

Fluff is good and expected to be back in 3 weeks.

So by Texas game or by Arkansas game?

Matt Wyatt said he was told it wasn't near as serious as first thought but take it with a grain of salt.

Matt's a pretty good source though.

That would be incredible if true. I've heard it will be more around Mizzou or Egg Bowl, but would love to get him back sooner.

If true that would be incredibly good news and a huge bullet dodged. I had just assumed he was done for the year.

High ankle is usually at least 4 weeks and up to a couple months. Low ankle…like 3 weeks. Hopefully we get him back but I think we can beat Ark, Tex and Florida without him if Reese gets back or our Oline improves and Shapen calms down. Main thing is he’s healthy for next year when things really take off. (Which is what Ole Miss is scared shitless of)

Not that I am happy anyone gets hurt. But it will be nice to see the other younger backs get some work.

Every OM fan I know is TERRIFIED of us having an offense of Taylor, Fluff, Thompson, Evans, and Williams. We will definitely have to work to keep Fluff and Evans in the portal.

Xavier Gayten is about to put some people on notice. He has LEGIT one cut and gone speed.

And receivers and tight ends.
I hate to lose Fluff for even a quarter of football but this might turn into a blessing for our team.

If they grandfather players who played as true freshmen and award everyone a fifth year our team in 2027 could be absolutely loaded.

Great news; if its longer than the UF game it is too long for me. He and Whitson are two game changers and we've lost both.

I do think this very well may happen. He explodes thru the hole when he sees it and he has real speed that our other backs don't have. I am weirdly excited to see this. Weird because I want Fluff back in two weeks which I know won't happen. Gayton could really change the pass rush too with a draw play to a speed back - think about that a minute. Lebby needs to make it happen.
