Jones playing better than RJM now, just don't know what happened to Cam, RJ and Kugel? Bizzare.

If the season ended today, we completely whiffed on the portal. Spent a lot of money and RJ, Kugel, and Harris have been below average. Especially in SEC play. Still have time to get going.

Nwoko is good for a backup center, which is the minutes he gets.

Early in the season, (of course before playing top SEC teams), they were moving the ball, sharing the ball, making the extra pass, racking up assists, and looked like they were having fun and enjoying playing together. Recently except for Murphy; RJ, Kugel, and Harris look like they are miserable watching a volume shooter who is a defensive liability often take more shots than 2 or 3 of them combined. Not having a true point guard (Is Clary our basketball Creedmore and if so, surely we are not still paying him?) is killing this team on offense. Cam has no outside game on offense and has dropped back to a 50% FT shooter after starting off the season shooting pretty well. Jans's stubbornness to continue doubling the post has got us virtually last in the country in defending the 3. We have been to many home games watching from row 3. Of course, losing the way we have been recently shows many issues. We need corrections on both offense and defense to turn this thing around. JMO.

Every time you see an opponent throw it in the post, it's to setup a wide open practice 3pt shot. Jans has got to adjust the double down rotation and trust the straight man to man defense.

Hubbard has been playing out of position all season and he's also a liability on defense. He's been one of the worst defenders in the league this season

Here's the thing, if we're gonna suck on defense and I don't think that's getting any better, hell just try to outscore everyone. Put Hubbard, Harris, Kugel, Melendez, and Murphy out there. Tell them if you pass up a shot, you're coming out. It's plainly obvious our defense sucks this year. So stop trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. You can bring Matthews and Jones in for late game situations where you need a stop. Jones, Warren, and Nwoko can get your primary bench minutes. I'd love for Cam Matthews to get in that group, but he sucks right now. Clear as day. He's never been good at offense but at least he would get you some offensive rebounds and play defense. He can't even do that right now. He needs to sit right now unfortunately. We need him to do those glue guy things again, but until he makes a decision to do them, he doesn't need to play.
