Our fans seem to be losing hope but should not
Positives
- We are .500 in league with some losses to top 10 teams. Each game is 50/ 50, even SC
- Some of those teams had outrageous shooting nights
- if Hubbard is back (I think he is), we will move live to another level
- the tough games are making us better
- the schedule will ease some now and we are prepared to deal with it
- if you look at the schedule, the last 3 games should be wins. We need to stay within striking distance of upper tier until then( which we are)
I am really optimistic, given Hubbard performance

I don?t think anyone besides RockyDouche is down on this team that bad.
Everyone is well aware how ridiculous the SEC is and we?ve only lost to teams that are elite no matter what league they are in.
Last night and KY were tough but we are a legit threat to anyone if we can get everyone clicking at the same time. We aren?t elite but we are a very solid team currently and trending in the right direction.
I?ll take that over the Rick Ray and Howland years any day. I?d imagine 100% of people would agree.

Anyone who is losing hope is an idiot. Our season has been great. We just need to finish out 50/50, doable, but tough.

I?m not a coach but have watched a great deal of ?DOG? bball through many many years. The Dogs absolutely could have won Bama game. True we didn?t, but If you are in striking distance then it?s on YOU....THE DOGS. From what I saw the DOGS could have blocked out, kept many offensive rebounds and second shots, and DOGS win. Basic bball, Big man Bball. This team has what it takes.....whether they will is to be seen. Get tough DOGS, Hang tough DOGS.....this team has what it takes, Bock out, rebound, drain a few and these guys can go far..... IMHO.

This is quite possibly the single best year the sec has ever had as far as good teams are concerned. And we are up there with the best of them. The job Jans’ is doing, truly is incredible.

Not quite possibly. Absolutely 1000% the best year. No question.

Good thing about him is he's gone. No not Rick Ray, even though he's gone too, Rocky Douche.

The frustrating thing is that we havent figured out the last 20 seconds of a game.

There was a little postgame frustration by a few folks but fans are not losing hope. A few just have unrealistic expectations for this team at this moment. We are not a top ten team. We are however a good team.

All the potential is there which is why it?s frustrating to let games like Kentucky and Alabama get away. But Ultimately all that matters is that the potential clicks and comes together in March

I think there's also frustration from the fact that wins are so hard that you have to take care of business when you get games at home. I think that's why there has been so much frustration with the losses to UK and Bama over the losses to Auburn and Tennessee. It's why it's almost a given that you have to go 3-0 in your next 3 home games against a blazing hot Mizzou, a Florida team who is #5(although that will probably go down after tomorrow), and a Buzz Williams coached A&M team that is going to take away Hubbard and make someone else beat them.
We are definitely in a precarious stretch. It's games that, if we play to our potential, we should win. However, playing to our potential has been an issue for us to say the least.

If we do what we are capable of then we are absolutely a top 10 team. Should have beat Bama and UK. All this while our best player Hubbard been in a slump for a month. We get everyone doing what they do well at the same time we are a Final 4 contender.
I even heard a national guy say before Bama game that we are a NC caliber type team if we get it together.
The talent we got and glue guys combined don't come along very often. We got the makings of a special finish to season. We just got to get hot at the end.
96 team was best team in country for about 2-3 weeks but they ran out of gas.

Yep, that team had a few big stars but not a lot of depth. Starting 5 was very good. This team is talented and deep.

I think the 76-77 team lost a lot early but only lost to kentucky down the stretch......and got screwed out of the tournament.....I may have my years messed up but that was one BAAAD team.........
