If you're talking Bout that unorganised cluster out in the Atlantic this time of year it will eventually curve northward up the east coast. Hope so. Then again my Hurricane magnet brother will be visiting this week/

Right now not seeing anything with an immediate threat. There's an area of low pressure out in the open Atlantic the NHC is in watching, but right now it's being sheared apart. In about a week it'll be in a more favorable area of development and has been given a 40% chance of becoming a depression in 7 days. Assuming it develops, any impact to the U.S. is at least 10-15 days out.

Even then, models aren't very favorable of US landfall. But that's wayyyyyy too far out to rely on.

Fishing report from Destin and the Oriskany. Nothing but AJs and Sharks. Go ahead and go straight to Venice or fish the Biloxi Marsh or Breton.

Yes the Biloxi marsh is where we are planning. I grew up fishing from Cat Island, the marsh, Free Mason and Chandeleur Islands.

Also lived next to Popps Ferry bridge for several years.

Have always caught nice slot reds at Ilse de Pitre on the point. I don;t know if the grass beds are still in Chanderleur but that was a good area for trout, specs. Gonna do some pier fishing tonight in Big Lake.
