I was really hoping he'd become a free agent. Go get paid by a team ready to win now, maybe the Rams. Stafford can't have more than 1-2 years left in him. I know Dak grew up a Cowboys fan and wants to be there, but they aren't winning anything until Jerruh gives up control of dies, whichever comes first (we all know it'll be death).
It's pretty obvious to me that Jerruh doesn't really want Dak. This is the second time he's jerked Dak around and paid everyone else before Dak. But Jerruh can't get anyone he'd rather have, so he's stuck with grudgingly paying Dak.

Yeah, I had the same thoughts. Really hoped he'd hit the market and go to a team that's serious about winning.
That being said, I'm glad he's locked in with CeeDee and Micah is right behind them. Jerry can't blow this team up. He HAS to go "all in" now, despite what he thinks of the concept, lol.
Also, watching them today, the D is 100% better than they were under Quinn.
