Interesting individual case. The Braves signed their #8 pick (senior pitcher from Montevallo College) for $7,500 and the #9 pick (senior pitcher from Loyola Maramount) for $2,500.
Both kids had great Junior years. They should have portal'ed to bigger schools for NIL dollars or at least free tuition.
Even Southern Miss could match the Braves with their NIL and tuition assistance to get two very good hands.
