Too Early FPI
To take our minds off baseball -
Here is the early FPI:

We check in at 5-7 - at #49.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

That would be a disappointment. I suspect Florida is too high on this list, and we'll prove it by beating them in Week 4.
That would likely get us to 4-0 and set us up to at least get to a bowl game and start a new streak after disgracefully ending one last season.
-
I think we can get to 6-6, would be a great start for lebby. Got om projected to go 8-4, lol.
-
We will beat the shit out of Sunbelt Billy and this will be his last season at Florida. We will win at least 6 games with an outside shot at 7.

If we beat the shit out of Florida, is Napier fired the next day?

Oregon at 2. They now have to play hard teams.
-
Bout right. Has Bears at #16 and 8-4.

I wouldn't doubt it. He has a Formula One car and driving it like a shopping cart.

They won a bunch of one score games last year. The stats tell you that won't happen again. They were 4-0 in one score games and 5-0 if you count Tulane, which was a one score game until Tulane self destructed under 2 minutes.
Stats tell you they'll revert back to the mean and be 2-3 or 3-2 in those types of games next year. I see them between 7-5 and 10-2. Which means they'll be 9-3 and will be ready for Lane to leave.

I don't think they fire him before October but if the season goes the way I believe it will they fire him between Kentucky and Georgia to try and fire up the troops to keep the UGA game close.

5-7 sounds about right. Hoping for a Mullen 5-7 vs. an Arnept 5-7. 6-6 is doable if we can get it done against Sunbelt Billy and UPIG.

If we win that one, their game on 11/23 may be a job interview for Kiffin. At least that's what I'm I'm preaching to all of the UM folks I know.

Depending on how this team gels, LSU probably won’t be as good as they have been and could be a surprise win. I don’t expect us to win it, but I like to be optimistic about football. I’ll take 6-6, but I think we upgraded in the QB dept and in the WR dept. I think we’ve got a chance to surprise some folks. May not beat the folks we surprise, but could run them down to the wire.

We don't play LSU this year, thankfully (or not)
