Ole Miss Pitcher Transfers:

(1) Doyle to Tennessee
(2) Saunier to Texas
(3) Quinn to Georgia

Looks like many knowledgeable coaches think these players have something to offer. Not saying MSU did offer or didn't offer. At least Quinn is the kid of a legacy and Saunier is from the Memphis area.

They have major coaching issues at Ole Miss.

We've gone after a ton of guys that told us no. The fact we can't even get visits is a problem in itself. Losing a CF hurts in an area of need too.

Devin Obee- .309 BA, .399 OBP, .599 SLG, .998 OPS. 16 HRs, 50 RBIs. K numbers are a little high with a 28% K rate, but still lower than Jordan or Hines last year.

Would not be a bad pick up. 6'-2" 215. Started every game for them. .309 with 16 homers is nothing to sneeze at.

ACC Tournament MVP as well. I hope we get him. He has better numbers than McCarthy.

Interesting numbers, was a big recruit originally

198 hitter in the conference (5 HR). So he must kill small school pitchers. Also, only one year of significant play. So maybe you get his best year.

MLB has 8 days left to sign the draftees. MSU has interesting players not yet signed. Wonder if we get lucky 3 times over and get a huge post draft boost.

UPDATE: Well damn, Cristian Moore signs for 1.5M less than his slot! Chris Cortez signs for 0.5M than his slot. The Angels are collect bucks for later draft picks. They did pay +0.7M for their 5th rounder. The Angles drafted Mershon in the 18th.

If Dakota Jordan is on our team next year I would honestly say that would be the most shocking returning player in all of my years of watching MSU baseball.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boras pushes it until the last minute because he is Scott Boras but I still expect Dakota to sign.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boras pushes it until the last minute because he is Scott Boras but I still expect Dakota to sign.

Boras will push it to the last possible second to squeeze whatever he can out of the Giants, but Dakota is gone. Him coming back would be the most shocking thing I have seen in all my years of watching ANY Mississippi State athletics.
