They have fewer bad losses than us is what it amounts to. Our problem wasnt that we scheduled fairly softly OOC but that we lost a couple more than we needed to.

I guess we should just schedule as many top teams as we can in the future. I would think our wins and losses would mean way more than non conference. If we win one game over the Hogs and Bama wins one over Lsu do we jump them in RPI? They aren't even ranked, we are 14th. Btw I wouldn't be surprised if Lsu wins two against them

Winning 1 against the Arkansas (RPI - 3) would yes be better than Bama winning 1 against LSU (Rpi - 34)
But would we jump Bama? Maybe but Bama wouldn't stay at 14 either.
Bama plays Troy this week (rpi 47) compared to our game with North Alabama (rpi -278) next week.
