    I think if we can find a way to 17-18 wins there is a very good chance we could host. Our RPI may (probably) will adapt to reflect that too. We're now in the top 40 and almost every opponent has a higher RPI than us right now. Even if our RPI isn't there I think the committee would strongly consider us for a host spot if our RPI is in the teens or low 20's. That's likely what it would be with 17-18 SEC wins. Right now technically we're the 5th place team in the SEC tied with Vanderbilt.

    RPI doesn't account for mentality or mental errors. No matter the RPI or the hosting situation, this team will find a way to lose. Has any other baseball team ever acted like they don't give af as much as this group seems to do at times?
