That was my thought to at first but the more I watch him hit the more I kinda see his grit by grinding out at bats and that’s what I always looked for in a two hole

But grittiness can only get you so far. Need to deliver if you’re in the 2 hole. But to be honest, I don’t know if we have true 2 hole hitter.

We scored 3 runs on 3 passed balls that inning. Since the guys aren't going to hit tonight, we need to get hit by pitch, walk or bunt it to the catcher, then steal around to 3rd and wait for a passed ball.

Lol I believe you've hit on something here. Folks need to understand 9 innings is a long game and there's gonna be ebb and flow. Just gotta be patient in baseball. It's why some many can't handle playing, coaching or watching it.
