Here is how you know Justin Parker can flat out coach... not only has he drastically improved our pitching staff, but they just keep getting better as the year goes on.

Out of all the pitchers we've seen improve, the most improved is Hardin, IMO. His stuff is drastically better in both velo and movement.

You nailed it! I called him Mr BP last year because that's what he threw. Totally different pitcher this year. Nasty stuff and that cutter he's developed hitters aren't even picking it up.

That pitching performance was about as you can get.
Really clean game for us especially given the circumstances. We had one error but that's about it.

His ERA is now under three and I believe he has a steak of 14 consecutive scoreless innings going now.
Makes me wonder if he is emerging as our closer?
We still have our entire bullpen basically available. Which will be needed on Sunday.

We have work to do but I always felt like this team would settle in and play well once they figured out the pieces to the lineup.

If we can save Nolan Stevens for Sunday, you have to feel pretty good.

That's who I would start regardless. I'm done with the Nate Dohm rehab experiment during SEC games.
If we want to start him against Alcorn if he is healthy that's fine. I'm also fine Dohm just wants to shut it down.
Long term we're better off getting Stevens and Dotson the experience anyway.
